What are the current and past legislative proposals being voted on in the Bundestag? With DEMOCRACY, you will find answers to all these questions. You make the Bundestag more transparent for yourself and open it up for your participation in political affairs.

JOIN VOTES

With DEMOCRACY, YOU can participate in every vote of the Bundestag yourself – anonymously and before the members of parliament do. While your vote currently does not directly influence decisions in the Bundestag, your virtual mandate brings you many advantages:

1. You will be notified of new session weeks.
2. You will be instantly informed about the topics the parliament is dealing with.
3. You will receive the official voting results as soon as they are available.
4. Your voting behavior will be compared long-term and sustainably with that of all parties and members with our Election-O-Meter.
5. You will see the voting results from yourself and all users who cast their votes in the app.
6. By entering your postal code, you can see how users in your electoral district voted.
7. You become part of a community that becomes increasingly harder to ignore as it grows in size. The more people use DEMOCRACY, the closer we come to having a direct influence on decisions in the Bundestag. We call this "citizen lobbying."

ELECTION-O-METER

NOTICE! This is NOT referring to the Federal Agency for Civic Education's Wahl-O-Mat, which asks you questions about party election promises! Our tool has much higher standards:

The Election-O-METER is a feature of the DEMOCRACY app. It compares all your voting results from the start with those of the parties and checks how closely you align with their political actions: Which parties and members are close to you and stand for the same concerns that are important to you? It focuses on political actions rather than words and promises. The more you vote, the more accurate your Election-O-Meter result becomes.

At the next federal election, a quick look at the DEMOCRACY app will no longer base your voting decision on vague election promises but on the actual voting behavior of politicians and factions.

DEMOCRACY operates with data minimization, and your data belongs solely to you at all times! How and what you vote on is only stored on your device and transmitted to our server in anonymized form. NO COMMERCIAL USE OF YOUR DATA IS TAKING PLACE – NEITHER NOW NOR IN THE FUTURE!
